Manchester United Vs Chelsea

Chelsea and Eden Hazard Look to Spoil Jose Mourinho’s Tactics at Stamford Bridge

The weekend is going to be massive in the Premier League as two English powerhouses will clash in a battle for supremacy. The venues will be Stamford Bridge and it would be Manchester United up against defending champions, Chelsea. While Manchester United will look to continue their winning streak, Chelsea man Eden Hazard has other plans. The Belgian playmaker is looking to spoil the part when his former boss Jose Mourinho visits Stamford Bridge on late Sunday evening.

According to Hazard, he is well aware of Jose’s special game plan to stop him. Interestingly, Hazard was left to paperweights in the clash in April this year. In a regular league game at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho had a special plan for Hazard and the Belgian was outdone by a brilliant man-marking display by Ander Herrera. Not only was Hazard left frozen on the field but Chelsea slumped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mourinho’s men.

Hazard and Chelsea are looking to turn the tables on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. Ahead of the clash, 26-year-old Eden Hazard has been in scintillating form for Chelsea. The Belgian has said that he will not fall into the trap again and is well aware of Jose’s strategies for him. Talking to media, Eden said that no matter how brilliant a plan Jose has, he will have to find a solution for it. The player said that he cannot give any excuse and will have to be at his best on Sunday. Talking about April’s defeat to United, Hazard admitted that he had no answer to Ander Herrera at Old Trafford. The Spaniard was just too much for him last time around but this time he is well prepared. Instead of getting into a war of words, the Belgian said that he will answer everything on the pitch.

Chelsea and Manchester United have had quite the rivalry over the past decade. The rise of Chelsea in becoming an English superpower is largely attributed to Jose Mourinho’s reign at Chelsea. Under him, the team won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, three Football League Cups and an FA Community Shield. But now Jose is on the other bench as the boss of Chelsea’s most fearsome rivals, Manchester United. Eden said that he is all but focused on the game now and scoring goals is his only target.
