After the tremendous shopping spree during summer transfer window, Manchester United have managed to build one of the most formidable squads in Europe. According to former United captain Roy Keane; Jose Mourinho’s men are the favorites to win Premier League and the European titles. The former Red Devils star believes the four goals thumping of CSKA Moscow is the perfect demonstration of the power of the ‘Mourinho Era Manchester United’. Manchester United after years of struggling are once again the force to be reckoned with in the Premier League and the whole of Europe.

Roy Keane says that United are once the traditional powerhouse of England and Europe. They could be well on their way to win the Premier League and Champions League this season. The treble-winning skipper in 1999, Keane was all praises for United as Mourinho’s men thrashed CSKA Moscow 4-1 in their own backyard in Moscow. Keane is convinced with United’s recent performances that make them capable of winning big trophies at Old Trafford.

Keane said in an interview that United are back and back in style. The team is looking to win big trophies in England and Europe. Keane insisted that it is time for Manchester United to look up to big trophies rather than just winning the lesser trophies. Former United star expects United to win big matches at the later stages of Champions League this year.

Keane highly praised Romelu Lukaku for his continued impressive performance. Lukaku has impressed everyone at Old Trafford ever since moving from Everton for blockbuster £75million move. Keane said United won bargain for the Belgian international who has so far scored ten goals in all competitions for United. Romelu Lukaku is on his way to becoming one of the most prolific forwards in the world.

After an impressive European action at Moscow, United will be at Old Trafford this Saturday. Red Devils will be up against bottom club Crystal Palace who was thrashed 5-0 by title rivals Manchester City last week.
