Looks like Jose Mourinho isn’t done shopping yet. The United boss is looking to sign Valencia midfielder before the next summer. The deal is expected to be worth £30m and Manchester United are looking to get it done before summer. After missing out on Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic this summer, Jose does not want to take any chances and wants to sign Carlos Soler as soon as possible. Manchester United are facing plenty of problems in the midfield and defense. The team is plagued by injuries with Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic already sidelined. Marouane Fellaini is already on grace period with his contract expiring at the end of this season. The Belgian has so far not inked a new deal.

Though Valencia have put a £75million price tag on Solder it is highly unlikely that the club would see any buyers at this price. Last season also, United has fixed their buys instead of battling the last minute rush. Meanwhile, good news for United fans has by the way of Mino Raiola, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent. The agent has indicated that the striker could play the game well into his 40s. Zlatan who turned 36 this October is battling an injury which has forced him out of the majority of the season. However, Jose Mourinho made a statement that the striker would be back on the field before heading the teams head into the winter break.

On the other hand, Romela Lukaku is having a dream start to his season. The Belgian looks to be giving Ibrahimovic tough competition for a place in the playing eleven. But there is some interesting news coming from the Belgian’s mother. According to the Lukaku’s mother, she used to carry his birth certificate to matches as a proof of striker’s age. The words from Lukaku’s mother need no proof as the striker’s imposing figure tells you everything. When Romelu was 16, many were shocked by his physique and strength. The striker while playing in his younger days often ended up towering over the defenders when he was 12 or 14.
