Tech giant Apple has launched Fitness+ service. Fitness Plus is Apple’s latest subscription service. The company has designed it to work with Apple Watch. It will provide users with workouts on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV with the tracking fitness progress. The new Fitness Plus subscription workout service was launched along with iOS 14.3, iPadOS 14.3, watchOS 7.2, and tvOS 14.3. Apple’s statement said that the new service integrates personal metrics from its Watch. It will inspire users and animate them on the screen during a workout session. Apple exudes confidence that it will offer an engaging and immersive experience to the users.

Apple said that to use the Fitness Plus service, users should have an iPhone 6s. It should be running iOS 14.3. The service is available on an Apple Watch Series 3. It should be updated to watchOS 7.2. On Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K, users will require updating the hardware to tvOS 14.3. It is available on an iPad Air 2 as well. The device should run iPadOS 14.3. According to Apple, it is offering workouts in 10 categories with the Fitness Plus. The categories include yoga, treadmill, strength, dance, rowing, cycling, and others. The company is offering a Fitness Plus subscription for USD 9.99 per month. For one year, the company will charge USD 79.99 as a standalone service.

Apple said that Fitness Plus trainers will deliver fresh workouts every week from the studio. It will give users options to explore new workouts. It said that users’ data related to workouts will be stored in the Health app on iPhone. Apple said that Fitness Plus is also included in the Apple One Premier plan. Besides, the company is offering Fitness Plus with Apple’s music, TV, gaming, news, and cloud storage services. Notably, Apple is offering Fitness Plus services only in six countries. The list of countries includes the United States, Canada, Britain, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Apple said that it is planning to launch Fitness Plus in other countries soon.
