David De Gea to stay at Manchester United Manchester United is looking to build the strongest and most formidable squads in Europe. In an attempt to reclaim lost glory, Jose Mourinho is not holding anything back. United have fended off Real Madrid interest in David De Gea by offering him a new contract. The contract would keep Spanish goalkeeper at Old Trafford after his contract expires in 2019. The new contract wards off the interest from De Gea’s longtime admirers Real Madrid. The United manager is all set to keep the Spaniard at Old Trafford well after 2019. Sergio Romero though still has to wait for his chances at Manchester United.

Arsenal earlier in the summer failed to acquire the services of Sterling after their bid was rejected by City. New contracts are also on offer for Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, and Gabriel Jesus.
