Doctors are those people who save many people’s lives, and they also give some healthy tips to stay fit, but it seems like some doctors are not doing that. Because according to a recent health study done by the researchers from Ohio State University it’s been found that many doctors are not telling moms that breastfeeding can lower the risk of cancer. These researchers study more than 700 women aged between 18 to 53 and only 16 percent of women said that received this information from doctors. Those women who were not aware of this risk told that their decision regarding breastfeeding could’ve been influenced if their doctors informed them before. This case study shows that from the last couple of years the risk of breast cancer is increasing every year, however the death rates are 40 percent higher among black women.
This health study showed lots of things regarding how many women are getting affected every year because of breast cancer. But it’s been found that black women are more likely to get triple- negative breast cancer which is one of the dangerous and aggressive cancer. The scientists are still trying their best to find out the reason behind why only some type of women is getting more affected because of the breast cancer, but some health experts believe that it could be a genetic problem. However, according to researchers who did this case study they think that women need to be more educated about breastfeeding practices because many of them don’t know the importance of it.
However, this case study shows the doctors need to take more responsibility of spreading awareness regarding the importance of breastfeeding among women. The researchers think health organizations shall spread the significance of breastfeeding which can reduce the risk of breast cancer.
