The latest 911 GT3 (a sports car) is accessible with a touring package that eliminates the rear wing and is handled with a manual gearbox. People might get confused with the name of 911 T. As most of the latest 911 Carreras are turbocharged, so people might consider T standing for Turbo but in fact, it doesn’t. The 911 T is motivated by the original 1986 model and the T stands for Touring. The company this time focused to come up with a lightweight car so 911 T was built. The 911 T is made of thinner lighter glass in rear and side windows along with less sound insulation, Sport-Tex seats and nylon door opening loops. This car is different from regular Carrera as it is privileged with rear-wheel steering and has PASM. On optioning full bucket seats in 911 T, the rear seats are removed to save even more weight.
The company brought down the weight to 3,142 pounds for all its Porsche 911s. The engine didn’t change as it’s the same as already availed in the base model of 911 of 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six which is set in the 911 Carrera. It means the 911 T is powered with 370 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft. of torque. The Porsche 911 T runs at 60mph in just 4.3 seconds.
The lightest and fastest 911 T costs $103,150 and the car will be seen on the roads in March 2018.
