The update will enable users to enjoy gaming in 4K with better colors, lesser loading times and improved framerates. The console is looking to roar in the market that offers tough competition from Nintendo and Sony Play station. The Xbox One X comes at a price of $500 / £449 / AU $649 right now. The console comes with the Xbox One controller, 60-inch long power cable, a couple of AA batteries, six-foot high-speed HDMI cable, a 14-day free trial for Xbox Live Gold, and an exclusive one-month subscription of Xbox Game Pass. If you talk about the console, it measures 30 x 24 x 6 cm (11.8 x 9.5 x 2.4 inches) making it the smallest Xbox console to date.

The heart of the console is AMD’s x86-based 2.3GHz 8-core CPU, which is 550MHz faster than the previous Xbox consoles that, ran on octa-core equivalent. The graphic has received a significant push thanks to the custom AMD Radeon-based solution that features 40 compute units clocked at 1172MHz. This has resulted in six teraflops of graphical performance. This makes the PS4 look like a kid this is 4.5times more than it. This gives juice to run games at 4K (2160p) with high-dynamic range colors.

Xbox One X features a massive 12GB of GDDR5 RAM which is more than original Xbox One and PS4 Pro that has 8GB. The Xbox One X has 326GB/s of memory with 1TB hard drive. This makes the console twice faster than the original Xbox One. Apart from the hardware the ‘MVP’ of upgrades, this time is the graphical enhancements. The games are in 4K which 4x1080p resolution. The console is a visual delight for gamers with significant improvements. Famous games like Gears of War 4, Killer Instinct, Super Lucky’s Tale, FIFA 18, and Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure and Disneyland Adventures become a treat on the new Xbox One X.

The console might be small yet it packs a lot of punch with its integrated power supply unit. However, the console weighs at 8.4 pounds. The console turns on in 7.5 seconds which is 0.6 seconds faster than the original Xbox One. Coming to the conclusion, the new Xbox One X is quite similar to the original Xbox One but there are some significant updates. Most of the updates are ‘away from eye’ and only visible to expert users. For general users, Xbox One S remains the best choice. The cost also plays a significant factor in the gaming market today. The cost-effectiveness of Xbox One S makes it far better option for gaming lovers than the new Xbox One X. Investing $500 in a gaming console today seems like a hefty choice. This matches the price of some 4K TVs today. Nevertheless, the real performance of Xbox One X will be seen in time.
