After this incident various executives took it to the Twitter insisting that the data leakage wasn’t technically a “breach”.

Facebook along with its executives encountered a torrent of backlash this Saturday after the news reports, disclosing that the Cambridge Analytica data firm, which worked on the 2016 Trump campaign, improperly collected private information from almost 50 million Facebook users.

Soon enough the company faced calls for the increased oversight and regulation, and Attorney General of Massachusetts, Maura Healey, announced an investigation as well. On twitter, Healey told that residents of Massachusetts instantly deserve answers to this from Facebook and the Cambridge Analytica.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar of the Minnesota also abraded the company, demanding that the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg to face the Senate Judiciary Committee for the questioning.

She wrote on Twitter that this is a massive Breach and it must be investigated, and that it’s is transparent that these platforms can’t police themselves. She had called for far more clearance and accountability for the online political ads. They state of trusting them and Zuckerberg needs to testify before Senate Judiciary.

But after the Facebook executives took this to Twitter in respond to the news report, trying to convince that the incident wasn’t a “data breach”, a lot the online outrage came from the critics, and accused the company of playing missing the point and semantics.

Longtime back Facebook executive, Andrew Bosworth tweeted that it wasn’t an unequivocally data breach, people choose in sharing their data with the third party apps and anyhow if those third party apps ignored to follow the data deals with them or users it is a case of violation.  And also no information or passwords, no systems were infiltrated, stolen and hacked. But twitter users weren’t satisfied with this response.
