Walmart Has Geared Up Against Amazon Prime Day Sale

Business

The e-commerce industry has always been an interesting one because here, we have seen companies trying to use different tactics to beat their competitors. Recently Amazon launched a mega sale offer on 15th of July in the name of Amazon Prime Day for which they have even started a promotion. Now to beat other retailing companies as eBay and Target have also decided to offer a mega sale offer. But, Walmart, which is one of the biggest retailing companies in the US, has also joined that list and they have announced their own mega sale just before a prime day.

Walmart announced that they are going to give a reasonable amount of discounts on products like video games, electronic items, and toys which are mostly purchased by customers hugely. People who are interested in buying electronics will focus more on Walmart since they are offering more discount than Amazon and other competitors. One of the best things about ordering on Amazon Prime day is that you will get items delivered to your home without any delivery charges but only if you have a prime subscription.

Walmart has decided to give free delivery if customer’s order exceeds the benchmark of $35, which seems to be quite workable for the retailing company since most of the orders are going to be in bulk. Amazon announced that they are going to start their sale on the 15th of July, and it will run for more than 48 hours, which means customers can buy their desired products within two days. Last time Amazon came with same sales offer, which lasted for more than 36 hours. Walmart is going to give some fierce competition to Amazon since many people still prefer to shop from one of the biggest retailing companies in the USA.
