Android users are facing a massive amount of malware issues from the last few months, and now recent report shows the same problem. According to reports, adware included 85 apps have been downloaded from the playstore by android users. The shocking thing which this report shows is that these malware contained apps were downloaded by more than 8 million times. These adware included apps were mainly focused on gaming or photography niche, and people downloaded apps. Adware is that type of malware which hides in your smartphone without getting into the notice for yours and shows you irrelevant ads.

Those pop up ads which usually bothers you is because of malware which is in your phone from a faulty app. Often, the advertisements which these apps show is quite hard to close and users don’t have control over these things. The developers behind such apps usually have the intention of getting required data of the user without letting them know. Surprisingly this 85 malware contained apps get downloaded by more than 8 million times.

Experts said these malware apps use “java reflection” to remain hidden. Malware based problems are nothing new to the android users because previously similar reports came, which stated that people are on the verge of losing security because of malicious apps. These apps register a broadcast receiver to check whether the user has unlocked the phone or not and based on it; they show unwanted advertisements. When the app gets clear signals, they start to show ads on full screen also. After displaying such ad, users usually don’t get any option there. They will have to watch an entire ad before they back to the homepage or app. Such type of malicious apps are still in use, and android users are getting affected because of it.
