Samsung Officially Announces Its Camera-focused A6 Plus & A6 Phones

Samsung has just officially declared about the two brand new mid-range smartphones; the Galaxy A6Plus and Galaxy A6. Both these phones had emerged yesterday on the Indonesian Samsung website, and although the listing there shared numerous detail, the full story is yet to come, but the company had made sure in changing that now. As far the design is concerned, these two Smartphones are almost uniform, the only difference that lies is their size, and the setup of the cameras on the back, as the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus holds two rear-facing cameras compared to the single camera of the Galaxy A6. The Galaxy A6 Plus and A6 phones are made out of metal, whilst they both sport lock/right facing power-key, and a volume down and up buttons of left-acing. Both the phones utilize on-screen buttons and features a finger-print scanner on the phone’s backside.

The Galaxy A6 comes with a 5.6’’ (1440×720) HD+ Super AMOLED infinity exhibit with a curved glass of 2.5D on its top. The phone is stoked up by the Octa-core Exynos 7870 64-bit SoC that is clocked at 1.6GHz. This smart handset features RAM of 3GB/4GB and an expandable internal storage of 32GB/64GB, which can be expanded upto 256GB via one microSD chip. The handset comes with 8.0 android Oreo along with it one will get custom UI of Samsung. On the back of the Galaxy A6 a 16 megapixel camera of f/1.7 aperture is included with an LED flash. The front side of the phone also features a 16 megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.9.

On the other hand the Galaxy A6 plus features a full HD + (2220×1080) 6 inch Super AMOLED infinity display with a 2.5D curved glass. The rest being similar to that of Galaxy A6 only this A6 Plus clocks at 1.8 GHz. Android Oreo 8.0 is already installed in Galaxy A6 Plus.

Both the phones support Dolby Atmos audio along with 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery of both the phones is powered with 3,500 mAh. Both of the handsets come in Gold, Black, Lavender, and Blue colour variants. The devices may roll out in early May starting with some Latin American, Asian, and European markets. Pricing is yet to be released.
