The whole world is going through some tough period since there are millions of people who die because of unhealthy diets and according to the team of international scientists they have a solution for it. A group of international scientists has developed a planetary health diet which is based on cutting red on cutting red meat and sugar consumption in half and upping intake of fruits, vegetables. Researchers think that this healthy diet can save millions of people dying because of malnourishment and it will also sustain the food production without harming earth’s environment. There are millions of food production which goes unused or and researchers think if people follow this healthy diet then it can help to stay healthy plus the climate changing problem would also get reduced.
Researchers of this study think that our planet needs to have a healthy diet system which everyone should follow because due to the improper food production the problems like malnourishment are rising. Experts believe that many people don’t realize it but the food production is one of the major cause due to which we are witnessing a climate change, and it can be controlled only if people follow this healthy planetary diet. The population is increasing at a faster rate, and the food production as compared to those people is less.
The report says that the world’s population is set to cross 10 billion by the end of 2050 and if we don’t make a proper food planning then in future it will be hard for the next generations to produce organic food. There are more than 1 billion people who live in hunger and 2 billion people overeat foods. So if people want to make the world a better place, then they will have to adopt this new planetary healthy diet.
