Tech manufacturing giant Foxconn is getting lots of media attention from last few days because there have been some reports which state company has decided to abandon its plan of building a mega-factory in Wisconsin. However, after having a good conversation with President Trump company now has officially said that they’re going to make their mega factory which company promised nearly two years ago. President Donald Trump had already said that he is going to let Wisconsin build one of the largest manufacturing plants in the USA which will give at least 13000 jobs to ordinary people. Wisconsin who was supposed to finish their construction of factory abandoned it recently by stating that company doesn’t find it lucrative. However, now after meeting with President trump, it seems like company now has realized its obligations and said that they’re going to complete the undone work.
Recent reports say that company will be hiring mostly engineers and tech workers in its new plant. Foxconn is expecting to build research and development center in Wisconsin which will help the company to create more innovative products. Foxconn at beginning said that they are going to develop flat screen panels in Wisconsin, but company has changed its vision, and now company will do work of assembling type in its new factory. After company changed its plan of not building flat screen TV panels, it got lots of criticism from analysts side. Because a few months ago President Trump waived off more than $4 billion of taxes on Wisconsin to support its mega factory plant.
After having a meeting with President Trump, it seems like Foxconn has decided to resume its work. However, some experts are still in doubts because most of them think whether company will ever be able to deliver what they have promised.
