Dallas, Waco, and Atlanta will be the first ever cities in receiving the 5G services under the AT&T soon in 2018, along with the carrier that’s also opening center on 5G innovation and will launch a new test lab as well, held in Austin to trail its 5G technology proprietary. AT&T has declared that Atlas, Dallas, and Waco are going to be the first cities across the United States to experience these 5G services.
The company told that they are working with their vendors on an antagonistic schedule for helping in ensuring customers so that they can enjoy 5G as soon the company launches the network this year. The company also stated that thy will be integrating more 5G capable smartphones and mobile devices soon by 208 and beyond. The 5G Evolution network of AT&T that involves the use of advanced 4G technology has been established in around 23 metro areas, such as; Austin, Atlanta, Georgia, Houston, San Antonio, Texas, Hartford and Bridgeport, Massachusetts, Chicago, New York, Buffalo, Los Angeles, and son on.
In January the mobile carrier stated that while they are rolling out the mobile 5G in early 2018, they are also planning to continue in enhancing their network with the technology of 5G Evolution in over hundreds of additional metro regions. In December AT&T had kicked off its greatest 5G trial network in Texas, Waco, using 5G radio and mm Wave spectrum, and prototypes antenna after it made the announcement in August, where it announce that it would stretch its 5G trials to three more cities by the latter half of 2017.
AT&T released its Evolution upgrade of 5G on its network in Austin, and in June in Texas, followed by Indiana, Indianapolis, in July. At the December ending the company also combined with the Ericsson on interoperability 5G NR trials. The trials also had inclusion of Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint along with the Japanese carrier; NTT DoCoMo, Australian mobile carrier Telstra, Korean carrier; SK Telecom, and the European Carriers; Orange and Vodafone.
The live demonstrations at the lab saw the companies utilizing the 28GHz and 36GHz mm Wave spectrum frequencies to use the pre-commercial base 5G base stations of Ericsson, and %G NR UE prototypes of the Qualcomm.
